After graduating as a physiotherapist in 1982, I worked for 2 years on general rotation in a major teaching hospital.
I was then employed in a geriatric rehabilitation unit where I worked predominantly with clients with neurological conditions.
In 1989 I joined the Commonwealth Rehabilitation Service as a CM/physiotherapist on one of the ABI teams. Between 1994 and 1996 I moved into management roles in CRS at a general/ABI unit and then a psychiatric unit.
In 1999 I joined Access Brain Injury Services as a CM and physiotherapist. As well as avocational outcomes for severely impaired clients I have helped clients with significant impairments and barriers to employment achieve successful RTW and durable first employment outcomes.
